The upcoming Spider-Noir TV show may have hinted that the most horrific Uncle Ben death from Marvel Comics will be adapted in live-action. Of all the upcoming Spider-Man movies and TV shows in development, Spider-Noir is perhaps the most intriguing. Rather than be a mainline Spider-Man film like the MCU"s Brand New Day story, Spider-Noir is a spin-off featuring a lesser-known version of the character. Starring Nicolas Cage, Spider-Noir"s TV show story will seemingly be set in a different universe from other franchises containing the hero and, as a result, little is known about the project.
The character - and actor - will be familiar to those who have seen Sony Animation"s Spider-Verse movies, with an animated iteration of Spider-Noir last being seen in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse"s ending. Now, though, a new version that remains almost entirely guarded and secretive will come to the small screen in live-action, bringing with it the many quirks of the comic book series. One such quirk is admittedly horrific, however, and is linked to the worst death of any comic version of Uncle Ben, which I am now convinced will be adapted as part of Prime Video"s Spider-Noir.

In the teaser, a man with a cane and a hunched frame can be seen standing over something with armed henchmen surrounding him. This seems to imply that the comic book version of Vulture from Spider-Man Noir"s story is being adapted.

In the comics, this version of Vulture is very different from the wing-toting villain that most Spider-Man fans have come to know. This version is actually forced to work at a carnival due to his unusual characteristics. Later, Toomes became part of the Goblin"s mob of villains, with his cannibalism coming back in the darkest way possible.
Yes, That's Right, Spider-Man Noir's Uncle Ben Died In A Horrific Way Worse Than Any Other Iteration Close Concerning how this links to Uncle Ben, one could probably guess how the two stories darkly intertwine. In the Spider-Man Noir comics, Ben was attacked by Goblin"s goons, including Adrian Toomes, for organizing a strike on New York City sweatshops. After being attacked, Toomes feasted on Ben"s body, mutilating it and leaving it for Peter Parker to find.
This is partly what spurred Peter Parker to continue seeking justice against New York"s criminals, even before becoming Spider-Man Noir. Nonetheless, this method of death for Uncle Ben is incredibly grim and much darker than most iterations of Spider-Man tend to depict it. With Spider-Noir seemingly being a darker show than most Spider-Man projects, I think this scene could be adapted.

With all of that in mind, I believe this snippet from Spider-Noir"s trailer is teasing the death of Uncle Ben. The shot in question showing the misshapen man looking down at someone hides the subject, but it could easily be Uncle Ben after being attacked. After all, armed henchmen are standing off to the side, which would link to the comic book story as Norman Osborn organized Ben"s assault before Toomes ate him.
If Spider-Noir follows a typical Spider-Man formula by exploring Peter Parker"s origin as the hero, this would make even more sense. Uncle Ben"s death is vital to most iterations of Peter becoming Spider-Man, with this version being similar in that regard, yet much darker in how it plays out. Therefore, Spider-Noir showcasing this dark scene will not only allow a different, grim version of Vulture to be depicted but also a twisted version of Ben"s death and, thus, Peter Parker"s origin as a unique version of Spider-Man to be explored.
